I cup sugar

5 tbsp flour

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

4 cups fresh or frozen boysenberries

2 tbsp butter

 

In a sauce pan, mix together the sugar flour cinnamon salt and then gently mix in the berries. CVook over low heat stirring often until moxure is thick and starting a slow boil. Add butter.

 

Place into glass pie dish or pan of same size.

 

1/2 cup quick oatmeal, uncooked

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

4 tbsp flour

1/4 cup butter

 

Blend quick oatmeal, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, butter til it is crumbly in appearance. Sprinkle over the top of the berries. bake at 425f for about 28 minutes.

 

Hint: double the topping!
